Letze Woche durfte ich mit einer Freundin 3 Nächte im Alpine Lifestyle Hotel – DAS KRONTHALER verbringen. Es war mein erster Urlaub seit einem Jahr und es tat richtig gut einmal dem Alltag entfliehen zu können und uns so richtig verwöhnen zu lassen.

Last week I was able to spend 3 nights with a friend in the Alpine Lifestyle Hotel – DAS KRONTHALER. It was my first vacation in a year and it was really good to be able to escape from everyday life and to be pampered properly.

An-/ Abreise

Nach einer ca. 2,5 stündigen Autofahrt von Feldkirch aus bin ich schon in Achenkirch angekommen. Am Weg habe ich noch meine Freundin vom Bahnhof abgeholt, da diese von Wien aus mit dem Zug angereist ist. Die Fahrt war etwas anstrengend, da momentan überall sehr viele Baustellen sind. Das Hotel war aber super leicht zu finden.
Die Heimreise war etwas verregnet, aber ich bin dennoch sicher wieder zuhause angekommen.

Arrival / Departure
After a 2.5 hour drive from Feldkirch, I arrived in Achenkirch. On the way I picked up my friend from the train station, because she came from Vienna by train. The trip was a bit exhausting, because at the moment there are a lot of construction sites everywhere. But the hotel was super easy to find.
The trip home was a bit rainy, but I still arrived safely back home.

Das Hotel – DAS KRONTHALER

Schon kurz vor der Ankunft sprang uns DAS KRONTHALER sofort ins Auge, da es etwas höher direkt neben einem Wald gelegen ist. Alleine von außen sieht es super schön aus und von innen war es dann nochmal beeindruckender.

Shortly before arriving, DAS KRONTHALER immediately jumped into our eyes, because it is located a little higher directly next to a forest. Only from the outside it looks super nice, but from the inside it is even more impressive.

Zimmer*****
Wir waren im „Chalet“ untergebracht, welches aus einem großen Wohn-/Essbereich, einem Schlafzimmer, einem Badezimmer mit Infrarotkabine und extra WC bestand. Das Highlight waren für mich aber die 2 Terrassen mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Uns stand eine eigene Nespressomaschine, ein Bluetooth Lautsprecher und ein eigener Kamin zur Verfügung.
Die Zimmer waren super sauber, gemütlich und rochen sooo gut nach Zirben Holz.

Room*****
We stayed in the „Chalet“ which consisted of a large living/dining area, a bedroom, a bathroom with infrared cabin and extra toilet. But the highlight for me were the 2 terraces with a beautiful view of the mountains. We had our own Nespresso machine, Bluetooth speaker and fireplace at our disposal.
The rooms were super clean, cozy and smelled sooo good of pine wood.

Personal*****
Bereits bei der Ankunft im Hotel wurden wir sehr nett begrüßt und auf einen Welcome-Drink auf die Terrasse geführt. Danach bekamen wir noch eine kleine Hotelführung, wo uns die wichtigsten Dinge erklärt wurden und wir einen guten Überblick über das Hotel bekommen konnten. Egal ob beim Pool oder am Gang, wir wurden immer sehr freundlich begrüßt, wir konnten jederzeit alles fragen und jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt.

Staff*****
Already upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted very nicely and taken to the terrace for a welcome drink. After that we got a small hotel tour, where the most important things were explained to us and we could get a good overview of the hotel. Whether by the pool or in the hallway, we were always greeted very friendly, we could ask for anything at any time and every wish was fulfilled.

Lage*****
Wir sind mit dem Auto angereist. Das Hotel liegt alleine an einem Waldrand, also der ideale Startpunkt für eine Wanderung. Ein Skigebiet befindet sich auch direkt neben dem Hotel, im Winter kann man also einfach mit den Skiern vom Hotel zum Lift fahren. Der Achensee liegt auch nur 5min mit dem Auto entfernt und der nächste Supermarkt ist ca. 10 Gehminuten weg. Generell war das Hotel sehr einfach zu finden und zu erreichen.

Location*****
We arrived by car. The hotel is located on its own next to a forest, so the ideal starting point for a hike. A ski area is also right next to the hotel, so in winter you can just ski from the hotel to the lift. Lake Achensee is also only 5min away by car and the nearest supermarket is about a 10min walk away. In general, the hotel was very easy to find and reach.

Essen*****
Wo soll ich anfangen, das Essen war einfach nur ein Traum. Zum Frühstück gab es ein reichhaltiges Buffet, sogar mit einer eigenen Station, wo einem das Porridge auf Wunsch zubereitet wurde. Ebenfalls konnte man von der Karte dann noch extra Waffeln, Palatschinken, verschiedenste Eiergericht oder Getränke bestellen. Nachmittags gab es dann immer ein kleineres Buffet mit Suppen, Salaten, Broten und verschiedensten Strudeln und Kuchen. Am Abend gab es dann immer ein 5gängiges Gourmet Dinner. Es gab sogar eine eigene vegane Karte für mich. Gestartet wurde immer mit Brot und Salat, danach ging es an die Vorspeise und Suppe. Bei der Hauptspeise konnte aus verschiedensten Gerichten gewählt werden. Zum Abschluss gab es noch Desserts und wenn gewünscht auch Käse. Was mich am meisten begeistert hat war, dass die vegane Auswahl sehr, sehr groß war, alleine bei der Pflanzenmilch gab es mehrere Alternativen. Ebenso fand ich es super, dass jeder Bescheid wusste was genau „vegane/ pflanzenbasierte Ernährung“ bedeutet. Aus Erfahrung weiß ist, dass das nicht in allen Hotels der Fall ist.

Food*****
Where to start, the food was just a dream. For breakfast there was a rich buffet, even with its own station, where porridge was prepared on request. You could also order extra waffles, pancakes, various egg dishes or drinks from the menu. In the afternoon there was always a smaller buffet with soups, salads, breads and various strudels and cakes. In the evening there was always a 5-course gourmet dinner. There was even a separate vegan menu for me. We started always with bread and salad, then it went to the appetizer and soup. For the main course, you could choose from a variety of dishes. Finally, there were desserts and if desired, cheese. What excited me the most was that the vegan selection was very, very large, alone with the plant milk there were several alternatives. Likewise, I found it amazing that everyone knew exactly what „vegan/plant-based diet“ means. From experience, I know that this is not the case in all hotels.

Preis****
Die Preise sind saisonabhängig. Im Großen und Ganzen kann man hier aber mit eher teureren Preisen rechnen, was meiner Meinung nach total gerechtfertigt ist, denn Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmen total überein.

Price****
The prices are seasonal. All in all you can expect rather more expensive prices here, which in my opinion is totally justified, because price-performance ratio totally match.

Angebot*****
Sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter gibt es eine große Auswahl an verschiedensten Aktivitäten. Es ist also für Jeden etwas dabei und langweilig wird einem hier definitiv nicht.

Spa: Das Hotel verfügt über einen eigenen Spabereich mit Indoor-/Outdoorpool, mehreren Saunen und natürlich kann man sich auch Massagen oder sonstige Kosmetikbehandlungen buchen.
Sport: Im Haus steht ein eigener Fitnessraum zur Verfügung und jede Woche gibt es unterschiedliche Aktivprogramme, wie Yoga, HIIT-Trainings, geführte Wanderungen oder Waldbaden. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit sich ein Personal Training zu buchen.
Natur: Es ist der perfekte Ort für Naturliebhaber, vom Hotel aus kann man direkt mehrere Wandertouren starten oder Skifahren gehen. Der Achensee ist auch in unmittelbarer Nähe, falls man beim Baden etwas Abwechslung möchte.
Tirol: Generell bietet das Bundesland sehr viele Möglichkeiten an. Zum Beispiel sind die Swarovski Kristallwelten nicht weit entfernt, ebenso kann man auch mal einen Ausflug in die Hauptstadt Innsbruck machen, da diese ebenso nicht so weit entfernt ist.

Offers*****
Both in summer and winter there is a wide range of different activities. So there is something for everyone and you definitely won’t get bored here.

Spa: The hotel has its own spa area with indoor/outdoor pool, several saunas and, of course, you can also book massages or other beauty treatments.
Sports: The hotel has its own fitness room and every week there are different activity programs, such as yoga, HIIT workouts, guided hikes or forest bathing. There is also the possibility to book a personal training.
Nature: It is the perfect place for nature lovers, from the hotel you can directly start several hiking tours or go skiing. The “Achensee” is also in the immediate vicinity, if you want some variety while swimming.
Tyrol: In general, the province offers a lot of possibilities. For example, the Swarovski Crystal Worlds are not far away, and you can also make a trip to the capital Innsbruck, as it is also not so far away.

Persönliches Resümee
Herzlichen Dank an dieser Stelle an das Hotel DAS KRONTHALER, wir durften unsere Arbeit mit einem wunderschönen Aufenthalt verbinden. Ich persönlich bin total von dem Hotel überzeugt. Ich habe jede Sekunde genossen, habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt, fand das Angebot und vor allem das Essen top. Das war bestimmt nicht mein letzter Aufenthalt. Das nächste mal werde ich mir hier im Winter ein paar Tage Auszeit mit meinem Freund gönnen. Das Hotel ist sehr weiterzuempfehlen. ☺

Personal summary
Many thanks at this point to the hotel DAS KRONTHALER, we were allowed to combine our work with a wonderful stay. I personally am totally convinced of the hotel. I enjoyed every second, felt very welcome, found the offer and especially the food top notch. This was definitely not my last stay. Next time I will take a few days off here in winter with my boyfriend. The hotel is highly recommended. ☺
