2 Nächte Prag, kurzer Girlstrip, viel zu viel zu sehen, viel zu wenig Zeit.
Trotzdem möchte ich gerne meine Empfehlungen sowie alle Tipps die ich zu Prag bekommen habe mit euch teilen.

2 nights in Prague, a short girls-trip, too much too see and way too little time.
However, I still want to share all the recommendations and tips I got for Prague with you!

Unterkunft

Untergebracht waren wir im Flakensteiner Hotel Maria in Prag. Die Übernachtungen wurden uns freundlicherweise zur verfügung gestellt. Im Großen und Ganzen war ich von dem Hotel sehr überzeugt und kann eigentlich nichts wirklich schlechtes sagen ( was natürlich gut ist ;)).

Accomodation

The Flakensteiner Hotel Maria in Prag was so kind and let us stay with them. I have to say, all in all it was a very good accommodation, I was really impressed and there is nothing I could say against it (which is obviously a good thing 😉 )

Zimmer:***** 
Das Zimmer war sehr groß, hatte eine helle und freundliche Atmosphäre. Das Badezimmer war mit einer Badewanne, Waschbecken, und einem WC ausgestattet und befand sich in einem extra Raum. Das Zimmer an sich hatte eine sehr schlichte, aber schöne Einrichtung und es standen TV, Minibar, Kaffeemaschine und ein großes, sehr gemütliches Bett zur verfügung.

Room: *****

Our room was pretty big with a bright and friendly atmosphere. In a separate room there was the bathroom, which included a toilette, a washbasin and also a bathtub. The hotel room was furnished quite simple, yet very pretty and there was a TV, a minibar, a coffee machine and a big and very comfy bed ready for us to use

Personal: *****
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, auch beim Frühstück wurden uns alle extra Wünsche sehr freundlich erfüllt. Das Personal wirkte kompetent und hilfsbereit.

Staff:
The staff welcomed us with open arms and even fulfilled all of our additional wishes at breakfast without any problems. Everyone was always very pleasant, helpful and competent.

Lage: *****
Die Lage war mehr als perfekt. Zum Hauptbahnhof waren es ca. 3 Gehminuten und in die Stadt ( Einkaufsstraße) 5-10 Gehminuten. Generell ist die Stadt sehr kompakt aufgebaut und man alles easy per Fuß erreichen. Wir sind also alles abspaziert, so sieht man erstens mehr von der Stadt, kann das Wetter genießen und Bewegung hat man zugleich auch 😉 Also win-win Situation.

Location:

The location was perfect. The train station was only 3 walking minutes away and it took us less than 10 minutes to walk to the city centre / main street. Because the city is generally very compact and constructed in a way that everything is easy to reach within walking distance, we strolled around most of the time, enjoyed the good weather and did all the sight-seeing while getting our steps in. I guess we could call this a win-win situation 😉

Angebot***
Im Hotel gab es zwar einen Spa-Bereich, doch dieser war ziemlich klein und bestand lediglich aus Ruheliegen und einer Sauna, sowie Massageangebot. Also nicht wirklich vorhanden, jedoch verbringt man in so einer Stadt, sowieso die Zeit lieber draußen, oder? 🙂  Außerdem gab es noch einen kleinen Fitnessraum mit Cardio-Geräten und Matten.

Although the Hotel did provide a spa area, it was rather small and mainly consisted of rest areas and a sauna. But they also offer massages and there is a small fitness area, which has cardio equipment and some yoga mats. I honestly wouldn’t consider it as a spa area, but I think that in a city like this, you’d rather spend your time outside anyway, right? J

Where to eat

Leider war auch hier die Liste der Restaurants, in die wir wollten, länger als die Zeit die wir dort waren.

Unfortunately the list of restaurants, which we wanted to try out was too long for the little time we spent there

• Cafefin: sehr nettes Ambiente, sehr guter ( der beste den ich in Prag hatte) Kaffee und das Essen war auch gut, nicht überwältigend, aber gut 🙂 // friendly ambiance, really good (the best one I got in Prague) coffee and the food was good too. I wasn’t completely overpowered, but it was good 🙂
• Café Letka: auch sehr sehr schönes Wohlfühlcafé, leider etwas wenig vegane Auswahl // also a very pleasant café, but sadly there was hardly any vegan options
• Pokehaus: Pokebowl geht immer oder? 😉 Super leckere Pokebowls, preislich auch OK. // Pokebowl is always a good idea, right? 😉 Really yummy pokebowls and the price was okay too
• The Bowl:  wie es der Name schon sagt gibts hier alles in Bowlform, angefangen vom Porridge über Acaibowl bis hin zur Pokebowl, also haben wir natürlich die Pokebowl unter unsere Fittiche genommen und für sehr gut empfunden. ( Wir mussten zwar extra Sojasauce dazubestellen, da es etwas wenig war, aber sehr sehr lecker). //
  As you may be able to tell by its name, here you can get a bowl of everything. Starting off with a bowl of porridge, to an acai-bowl and also to a pokebowl, which we obviously had to give a taste and yes it was pretty good indeed. We did have to order some more soy-sauce, as it wasn’t enough at first, but other than that our taste buds were very satisfied.SIA Restaurant

Persönliches Resümee

Ehrlich gesagt war ich sehr positiv von Prag überrascht. Ich hatte die Stadt nicht wirklich auf dem Radar, doch als Nina und ich ein kleines Girls-Getaway machen wollten dachten wir, why not? Und ich hab mich sogar ein bisschen in die Stadt verliebt, wir hatten Gottseidank super schönes Wetter und vor allem die Architektur erstrahlte dann (wortwörtlich) noch in schönerem Licht 😉 Die Preise in Prag sind normal, das Essen jedoch ist in Wien schon besser, aber irgendwas richtig schlechtes hatten wir trotzdem nicht.

Ich würde sagen, ein gelungener Kurz-Trip 🙂

Personal resume:

Honestly, I was surprised by how beautiful Prague is. I never paid much attention to this city, but when Nina and I planned our little get-away trip, we thought why not just give it a go. I actually fell a little bit in love with the city and its stunning architecture and thanks to the good weather causing the sunlight to shine on those houses I was amazed even more.
The prices in Prague are pretty normal, but I must admit that, even though I had no bad experience I do prefer the food we have in Vienna.
I guess this trip was a definite success 🙂
